Last year, I signed up to be a contributing photographer for The Gold Hope Project. This is a non-profit organization that provides families battling pediatric cancer with free portrait sessions for their little warriors. This is such a special project that I am proud to be a part of, and I would really like to get the word out about them and help in any way I can.
A few weeks ago, I was contacted about my first Fighter Session and, to be honest, I had some mixed feelings about that. Of course, I was excited to meet new people and spend great time photographing them. But at the same time, I so wished that we could meet under the different circumstances.
So, I’ve read about Lily. I’ve tried to prepare as much as possible. I’ve tuned to the good vibes and decided to follow the flow. And when I finally met her and her wonderful family, when I saw their love, their bond… When she gave me a big happy smile, warm and contagious… I felt so grateful for being able to do this. And I hope they will enjoy their memories for many, many years to come.
